Private Client Senior Paralegal | Brand New Role!
Location: Bristol
Salary: From £33,000, depending on experience
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The Opportunity
TSR Legal are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Senior Paralegal or Legal Executive (23 years PQE) to join a leading national law firm within their Private Client department. This full-time role involves managing your own caseload and supporting a Partner with more complex matters. You\’ll also be encouraged to contribute to both practice and business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be personable, proactive, and adaptable, with strong experience in all aspects of non-contentious Private Client work. Strong organisation, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit, motivated team are essential.
Location & Working Pattern
This position is based in either Bristol or Cardiff office, with hybrid working arrangements (typically 2 days in the office and 3 days from home). A company laptop will be provided, and candidates must have the infrastructure in place to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on all areas of Private Client law, including:
- Drafting Wills and providing tax and estate planning advice
- Estate administration (including taxable estates, applying tax reliefs, post-death planning)
- Creation and registration of various Powers of Attorney
- Creation and registration of Trusts, including PI Compensation Trusts

- Strong knowledge of non-contentious Private Client law

- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A proactive and calm approach under pressure
- Confidence in managing deadlines
- Passion for business development and continuous improvement

- Knowledge and experience in tax and trusts
Experience & Qualifications
- Law degree, senior paralegal experience, or qualification as a Legal Executive (or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience managing a Private Client caseload with minimal supervision
