The Opportunity
TSR Legal are working on behalf of a respected client seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy claimant injury department based in central Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and skilled individual to manage their own caseload of diverse personal injury claims, including matters involving vulnerable road users (cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists) and minor to moderate head injury cases.
This role requires a hybrid working arrangement: two days per week in the Bristol office, with the remainder working from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of personal injury claims efficiently and effectively.
- Pursuing claims through and outside of the MOJ Portals, including pre- and post-litigation stages, using a case management system.
- Ensuring full compliance with agreed service standards.
- Communicating professionally with clients, insurers, expert witnesses, and solicitors.
- Attending and participating in weekly risk assessment meetings.
- Managing client expectations and addressing any complaints in line with company policy.
- Performing any other duties as required.
Skills And Competencies
- Significant experience managing a claimant personal injury caseload.
- Strong working knowledge of MOJ Portal processes.
- Experience with case management systems.
- Ability to meet strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Technical proficiency in handling claims through to litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and legal research skills.
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Team player with a collaborative approach.
- A law degree, CILEx qualification, or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
