The Role
As a Legal Support Administrator, you will be integral to the smooth operation of the Private Client team. You will work closely with legal professionals to provide high-quality administrative and client support, while gaining insight into a specialist area of law.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting lawyers with billing processes, including drafting narratives and cover letters
- Managing credit control and liaising with internal finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing
- Acting as a point of contact for clients and external parties by telephone and email
- Preparing client updates, reports, and supporting documentation
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient workflow
- Scheduling team meetings and supporting internal communications
- Assisting with the organisation of client events and seminars in collaboration with Marketing
- Developing strong working relationships with legal professionals and understanding client needs
What You’ll Bring
- Recent experience in a Legal Support, PA, or Legal Secretary role ideally within a Private Client or Tax, Trusts & Succession team
- Strong organisational and diary management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with legal billing and finance processes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Fast and accurate typing and document formatting
- Clear, professional communication skills both written and verbal
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
