A well-established, award-winning legal practice is expanding its Family Law Department and currently seeking Family Paralegals to join the team at its South Bristol office. With offices across the South West and Midlands, this legal practice provides expert advice in Family Law, Education Law, Judicial Review, Conveyancing, Human Rights, and Wills & Probate. Due to continued growth, several full-time roles have become available within the Family Department. These roles offer an exciting pathway for those seeking practical legal experience and career development in public and private family law matters.
Key Responsibilities- Handling initial client calls and supporting general administrative functions
- Assisting fee earners with file management, statement drafting, and documentation preparation
- Preparing CCMS applications for legal aid and compiling court bundles
- Liaising with clients, professionals, and third parties to arrange appointments and manage communications
- Supporting with injunctions, public and private children law matters (training provided)
- Attending court and conferences with counsel as required
- Law degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong written English and excellent organisational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and case management systems
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative
- Commitment to high levels of client care and professional standards
- Completion of the LPC or SQE
- Own transport for travel between courts or client meetings
- Prior experience in a legal or family law environment
- Competitive salary: £23,000 - £25,000, depending on experience
