Role Description
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Case Manager. You will manage the end-to-end mortgage process from application submission through to completion. The role requires close coordination with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and clients to ensure cases progress efficiently and compliantly. You will work directly with the principal adviser, playing a key role in maintaining service standards, ensuring documentation accuracy and delivering a smooth client journey. Strong attention to compliance, organisation and communication is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Package and submit mortgage applications accurately
- Review and verify client documentation
- Liaise with lenders to manage underwriting queries
- Track valuations, offers and key deadlines
- Provide proactive updates to clients and stakeholders
- Maintain accurate CRM records and compliant case notes
- Ensure adherence to FCA regulations and internal procedures
- Support protection case implementation where required
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in mortgage case management or financial services
- Strong understanding of the UK mortgage process and lender criteria
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple live cases simultaneously
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency with CRM and document management systems
- CeMAP qualification is advantageous but not essential
