We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team and help us scale our infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot GitLab CI pipelines to enable smooth, automated, and reliable software delivery.
- Build, manage, and automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, ensuring scalable, secure, and reproducible environments.
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor cloud-based workloads on Kubernetes and AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop and manage infrastructure templating and deployment workflows using tools such as Helm, supporting consistent and scalable application releases.
- Monitor system health using industry-standard tools, respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and implement long-term remediation to improve system resilience.
- Partner with development, product, and security teams to improve build processes, enhance platform reliability, and resolve infrastructure challenges.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve performance, reduce manual overhead, and enhance the developer experience across R&D.
- Strong experience with cloud providers (e.g. AWS).
- Experience with GitLab CI.
- Strong foundations with Git and GitOps methodologies.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform).
- Experience with infrastructure templating and deployment tools (e.g. Helm).
- Scripting abilities: Python.
- Proven experience with container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes).
- Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Ability to learn various technologies and topics.
- General knowledge of the generative AI space and related concepts (e.g. models, tokens, credits, prompts, context windows).
