Artlist's core Gen AI product puts state-of-the-art generative models for image, video, and voiceover directly in creators' hands, giving them total creative control over every stage of production.

It is our flagship offering and a core pillar of our innovation strategy.

As a

Product Builder on our core Gen AI product, you will define and ship the future of video production for millions of creators interacting with generative AI.

A Product Builder is not a traditional product manager who hands off requirements; a Product Builder makes.

You take end-to-end ownership of a defined product area and turn ideas into shipped product, working hands-on inside a small, fast-moving pod.

Your core deliverable is the Definition of Ready (Do R) : a working prototype, the data events and success metrics to instrument, and a tight, operational spec that engineers and AI agents can build from directly.

This replaces the old cycle of long PRDs and Figma wireframes recreated by hand.

You decide what to build, how it will behave, and how we will know it worked, before a line of code is written.

This role requires translating evolving AI model capabilities into intuitive, high-quality user experiences.

You will balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals to scale and evolve the product's capabilities, and drive measurable impact on key engagement and retention metrics.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience as a video creator or AI video creator, with a strong body of work and high creative taste.
  • Deep, first-hand understanding of creator workflows and where current Gen AI tools fall short.
  • Strong product sense: able to turn a problem into a Definition of Ready - a working prototype, the data events and success metrics, and a clear, buildable spec.
  • Analytical and data-driven, comfortable defining the metrics that prove impact.
  • Hands-on with modern AI tooling to prototype and build, with a bias to ship and iterate.
  • Excellent communication and the ability to align cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • Product management experience or experience working with agile development teams.
  • Proven experience in the Saa S industry.

How to prepare for a job interview at Art List

Understand the Product Life Cycle

As a product management candidate, we need to get our head around the complete product life cycle. Be prepared to discuss real-world examples of how you’ve managed product development from ideation to launch. Bring specific insights on tools like JIRA or Trello that can help streamline these processes.

Showcase Your Cross-Functional Skills

Product management is all about collaboration. We should be ready to highlight how we’ve worked across teams—think marketing, engineering, and design. Prepare to discuss scenarios where you had to mediate differing opinions and how you got everyone on board with a shared vision.

Prepare for Case Studies

Practise solving hypothetical product problems on the spot, such as prioritising features for a new app or improving user engagement metrics. This will show our analytical thinking and decision-making skills.

Know Your Metrics

Let’s face it, numbers are our best friends in product management. We should prepare to discuss key performance indicators (KPIs) and how we've used analytics to inform product decisions. Dive into examples where data has driven our strategy for improvements or justified product changes.
