art‑K, a leading private art education service, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Self‑Employed Party Assistants for its arty birthday parties during weekends. With a vibrant network of 8000 weekly students, art‑K is expanding its offerings to provide unique and creative birthday experiences. In the last few months art‑K has delivered over 100 parties and expects this to continue growing in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Studio Setup and Ambience: Assist the Party leader in creating an ambient studio environment for the party, setting the music up and preparing the projects in alignment with the birthday person’s requests.
- Art Workshop: Assist the Party leader with the art workshops for party‑goers, fostering a positive and encouraging environment, sparking creativity and experimentation among attendees.
- Clean‑up: Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class, leaving a welcoming space for the next session.
- Teaching and Encouragement: Support children to complete their art projects, offering guidance and encouraging them to explore their creativity while having fun. Support the Party leader with a shake break or mini dance party midway through the workshop.
Requirements
- Working towards art A level, Foundation or Art degree.
- Sufficient knowledge in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics and air‑dried clay.
- Experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5–6) and upwards (desired).
- Positive, proactive and customer‑service‑oriented attitude.

- DBS check (cost covered by the self‑employed person, facilitated by art‑K).
