About Art Circles
Art Circles is an innovative platform dedicated to transforming how the art market connects. We bridge the gap between art organizations - including art fairs, museums, and galleries—and global collectors. Our mission is to provide an optimized, curated, and highly engaging experience for art lovers while building the future data infrastructure of the art market.
The Role
We are looking for a creative, proactive, and highly organized Marketing & Community Summer Intern to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a current university student or a recent graduate who is passionate about the intersection of the art world, digital media, and community building. You will work directly with our leadership team and play a hands-on role in shaping our digital presence, engaging our niche audience, and amplifying our brand voice across the global art market.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media & Content Creation: Brainstorm, create, and schedule engaging content (graphics, short-form video, copy) across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Help develop visual and written assets that highlight our gallery partners, art fair collaborations, and platform features.
- Community Management: Act as the digital face of Art Circles by monitoring channels, responding to comments, and actively engaging with our community of collectors, artists, and gallery directors. Identify and interact with key accounts in the luxury and fine art space to grow our organic reach.
- Email Strategy Implementation: Assist in drafting, designing, and scheduling newsletters and targeted email campaigns for our different audience segments (B2B organizations and B2C collectors). Help track email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates) to optimize future sends.
- Public Relations (PR): Build and maintain media lists of art critics, journalists, and cultural publications. Assist in drafting press releases and media pitches highlighting our platform milestones and luxury space collaborations.
- Speaking & Event Opportunities: Research and identify relevant art fairs, tech-art summits, podcasts, and panels. Prepare pitch materials to position Art Circles' founders and leadership as guest speakers or thought leaders in the industry.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Art History, Art Business, or a related field.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English; a second language is a plus).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and LinkedIn.
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut).
Traits: Self-starter, highly organized, detail-oriented, and not afraid to pitch new ideas. You should have a genuine interest in the contemporary art market and digital startups.
What We Offer
- Real-World Impact: Your work will directly influence the growth of a scaling startup in the art tech space.
- Mentorship & Networking: Gain direct access to art market professionals, gallery directors, and tech founders.
- Flexibility: A collaborative, flexible working environment that values creativity and initiative.
- Portfolio Building: Leave the summer with a tangible portfolio of successful campaigns, published content, and secured PR/event opportunities.
