We’re looking for a Product Development Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and delivering the digital products that underpin our corporate functions, including People, Finance, Procurement, and Operations. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner closely with colleagues across Technology and the wider business to modernise processes, deliver efficient and secure systems, and ensure our corporate platforms successfully enable our wider strategy. You’ll take end-to-end ownership, balancing strategic vision with hands-on delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding: We are committed to ensuring that our environments for children, young people and adults at risk remain safe and inclusive. We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.

Your day-to-day:

  • Own our corporate systems portfolio - you’ll act as the primary product owner across People, Finance, Procurement and Operations systems, setting clear vision, priorities and roadmaps.
  • Shape product strategy - you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to align product direction with business strategies, technology governance and architectural standards.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery - you’ll confidently guide products through their full lifecycle, from discovery and design through to testing, deployment and adoption.
  • Build trusted partnerships - you will partner with senior colleagues to understand needs, translate them into effective solutions, and communicate progress, risks and opportunities.
  • Oversee integrations and performance - you’ll work closely with Enterprise Architecture and Delivery teams to ensure systems integrate seamlessly and perform reliably.
  • Drive governance and security - you will champion outstanding change control, data protection and security practices across all corporate platforms.
  • Embed continuous improvement - you’ll use performance data and user feedback to proactively enhance systems and reduce manual tasks through automation.
  • Champion adoption and change management - you will act as a change leader, supporting colleagues through training, communication and a digital-first mindset.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven product leadership experience - you come with demonstrated experience delivering digital products or platforms, ideally within People, Finance or Corporate environments.
  • Deep understanding of business processes - you’re well versed in HR and Finance workflows and how technology can support efficiency and insights.
  • Confident stakeholder engagement - you’re proud of your ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders and build trusted, productive relationships.
  • Exceptional delivery mindset - you thrive when managing complex work at pace, balancing priorities, deadlines and budgets.
  • Expert understanding of agile methodologies - you bring experience of agile or SAFe delivery, applying theory pragmatically to achieve outcomes.
  • Data and compliance awareness - you have a solid understanding of data protection, security and regulatory requirements, including GDPR.
  • Vendor and commercial capability - you’re experienced in working with third-party suppliers and tracking budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaboration-first approach - you’re a true team player who enjoys working across disciplines to achieve shared goals.
