We are looking for a Content Producer to join us and become a key member of our Editorial team, producing daily content for our official app and website covering Women’s, Men's, and Academy football. You'll be entrusted to write compelling articles and features as well as produce short-form, social-first video content for our digital platforms. In this exciting role, you'll relish the opportunity to represent the department at matches both home and away, while serving as a regular presence at our training ground, helping to build relationships with key colleagues across our club and deliver engaging content across multiple touchpoints.

Your day-to-day:

  • Create outstanding content on a daily basis - you'll passionately drive the creation of engaging and industry-leading content that covers our Women's, Men's, and Academy teams throughout the week.
  • Ensure content is aligned with wider Marketing strategy - you will be responsible for keeping our content linked with our wider Marketing strategy, supporting the work of our Retail, Partnerships, and Venue teams.
  • Deliver social-first content - you'll eagerly devise and produce social-first content for our app, including content captured on a phone.
  • Provide exceptional matchday coverage - you will be trusted to regularly cover home and away matches involving our Women's, Men's, and Academy teams, including conducting post-match interviews and covering press conferences before and after games.
  • Improve supporter engagement - you'll utilise push notifications to help boost engagement within our official app.
  • Drive ideation - you will proactively contribute to weekly editorial meetings, offering and developing content ideas as well as looking for upcoming milestones for potential activations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues - you'll unite with our Social and Shortform Video teams to devise and produce best-in-class concepts.
  • Act as a proud and trusted ambassador for our club - you'll conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and discretion and you will passionately represent our values across our content, ensuring our tone of voice is consistent across owned & operated channels.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a content creation led role - you've got a proven track record in content creation, from written editorial to short-form video.
  • Background in media - you come with excellent experience working for a publication, consumer-focused brand, or sports organisation.
  • Confident writer - you're proud of your ability to write quick, engaging, and accurate copy to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent video production skills - you are well-versed in producing short-form video, including content captured on a phone.
  • History of covering and reporting on live events - you've previously reported on live events and created a range of content and conducted interviews.
  • Ideas-driven approach - you thrive when you're encouraged to frequently generate innovative ideas, spot opportunities to produce great content and develop existing content franchises.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail - you back your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time while working at speed without compromising quality or accuracy.
