- Deliver engaging programmes – you will plan and deliver a variety of health, fitness and wellbeing interventions in the local community ensuring they meet the needs of the individuals and groups.
- Manage and organise equipment – you’ll carry, set up and use a range of fitness equipment at sessions as well as be responsible for the correct use and safe keeping of this equipment, ensuring the facilities are checked before use and are safe for practical participation.
- Maintain compliance – you will adhere to all Arsenal in the Community health and safety, safeguarding and emergency procedure policies.
- Drive development – you’ll be committed to attending professional development days where possible in order to continue personal development as well as continuing to keep sessions engaging and effective for participants, building professional and supportive relationships with all participants throughout.
- Adapt and deliver sessions – you will take an adaptable approach to work with a variety of individuals or groups from a range of abilities, fitness levels, age ranges and varying backgrounds, with the ability to make appropriate adaptations to sessions for participants with medical or mobility issues.
- Take a lead on coordination – you’ll take ownership for updating registers, consent forms, incident and accident forms, and recording participant outcomes.
- Uphold professionalism at all times – you will maintain high standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues, participants and stakeholders with whom we engage with, and the wider public when working for our club and wearing our kit.
What we are looking for:
