The Role We are looking for a passionate Community Football Coach to join us on a casual basis. You will play a key role in the delivery of our Arsenal in the Community Football Plus programme. The programme provides weekly training sessions and fixtures for children aged 6-16 in a child-centred positive environment that gives them a positive first (and continued) experience of the game. Your day-to-day Inspire and educate – you will deliver high quality coaching sessions to children of varying abilities, ages and backgrounds that help them to fall in love with the game and you will support players\’ individual development and understanding of how to be a part of an effective team Engage and collaborate – you\’ll build and support positive working relationships with players, parents/guardians and other grassroots clubs Support and develop – you will oversee and mentor trainee coaches delivering on the programme to help them develop their skills and confidence to deliver high quality football sessions Oversee data collection and administration – you will complete tasks related to the sessions such as updating registers, consent forms or risk assessments Deliver child-friendly competition – you\’ll manage a team and/or venue on matchdays ensuring a positive experience for all What we are looking for Experience in a similar coaching role – you have an FA Level 2 Award in Coaching Football/UEFA C Licence and a valid, up to date certification(s) in First Aid and Safeguarding Children Inspiring leadership skills – you have excellent inter-personal skills with a positive, engaging and confident demeanour Excellent organisational and planning skills – you\’re committed to high quality delivery and service so enjoy working to deadlines and have a flexible approach Dynamic communicator – you\’re able to communicate clearly across a highly diverse range of audiences and contexts, adapting your style, tone and approach as needed Passion for community – you are self-driven and motivated with the desire to make a real difference to people\’s lives within the local community Trusted ambassador for our club – you recognise your responsibility as a representative of our club and maintain exceptional standards of professional behaviour towards colleagues, our community participants and the wider public Champion fordiversity and inclusion – you take positive action to create an inclusive environment for children to learn the game and you will have a passion for women’s football and growing the game Arsenal for Everyone Arsenal for Everyone is our commitment to promoting and embracing equality, diversity and inclusion, so that everyone connected to the club feels like they belong to the same Arsenal family.
