We are looking for a consultant to carry out Emerging Talent Player ID services for AWFC until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Schedule of Services

  • Expand our club's coverage and understanding of UK & global markets for the required team / group(s).
  • Benchmark current emerging talent players within the AWFC squads.
  • Create shortlists of the most suitable players within the structure for the Arsenal Women systems.
  • Undertake analysis and due diligence within our club's existing framework on emerging talent players in the UK and Globally.
  • Learn, understand and apply our club's game model principles and profiles to all analysis and due diligence on emerging talent prospective players.
  • Populate our club's centralised platforms with player assessments, projections and market intelligence to build the business’ intellectual property, working within the existing framework.
  • Work within the existing framework to generate video databases on key individuals, as required for the Women Player ID Lead.
  • Work closely with the Technical Director, AWFC Player Pathways Manager, AWFC Academy Manager and Academy Talent ID Co-Ordinator to ensure the most effective planning and decisions are met.
  • Strategically attend games to assess players live when required, as agreed from time to time.
  • Be proactive in seeking out learning and development opportunities, as agreed with the Women Player ID Lead.
  • Ensure there is aligned and systematic scouting pathway to identify, monitor and recommend players to improve the AWFC Academy.
  • Manage the scouting pathway effectively to ensure consistency and quality across all scouts.
  • Provide CPD opportunities for scouts on an ongoing basis.
  • Build relationships with the wider team and other key stakeholders in the organisation.
  • Learn, understand and act on all departmental and club values, during the consultancy period.
  • Promote and represent the values of Arsenal Football Club at all times if interacting with external stakeholders.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism at all times.
