Pre-Academy Scouts (Casual Role)

The Role

We are looking for Pre-Academy Scouts on a casual, part-time basis to identify talented young players who have the potential to develop within our Pre-Academy age groups.

Our Academy focuses on developing young talent and providing opportunities for young players, aligning with our club\’s philosophy. You will play a key role in uncovering promising young players to ensure their growth and success.

Your Day-to-Day

1. Be a vital part of our Academy Talent Identification network, helping identify future stars for our club.
2. Identify and report on talented young players within your designated catchment area.
3. Monitor and report on players on our database and stay informed about the broader player landscape.
4. Build and maintain effective relationships with players, parents/guardians, and grassroots clubs.
5. Cultivate a network of contacts in youth football.
6. Ensure adherence to high standards and compliance with youth football development rules.

What We Are Looking For

1. Relevant expertise, such as completion of courses like National Talent Identification and Scouting in Football or similar.
2. Strong knowledge of grassroots and local junior football clubs.
3. Up-to-date Safeguarding Children Certificate.
4. Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
5. Exceptional attention to detail in reports and verbal feedback.
