The Role
We are looking for an Academy Physiotherapist responsible for the day-to-day physiotherapy care of the U18 squad.
In this exciting role, you\’ll be entrusted to provide expert level injury prevention, player assessment, treatment and rehabilitation strategies for all academy players in the U17-U21 age groups.

Your day-to-day
- Providing elite level rehabilitation – You will implement an expert level of evidence based rehabilitation for all injured Academy players
- Injury prevention – You\’ll be be proactive in the design, assessment and implementation of physical screening and injury prevention programmes
- Player treatment- You will attend external clinics, consultant appointments, surgery and any other appointments to ensure a professional level of care and rehabilitation of Academy players
- Medical compliance – You\’ll ensure that medical services comply with current EPPP guidelines and maintain up to date pitch side emergency first aid qualifications in accordance with Premier League guidelines (ATMMiF)
- Act as a trusted ambassador for our club – You will diligently maintain our child protection, health, safety and equal opportunity procedures and you\’ll conduct yourself with the utmost discretion with regards to the confidential nature of our club operations
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Specialist – You’ll have achieved a BSc or MSc degree level qualification in Physiotherapy be MCSP and HCPC registered and have valid Level 5 FA ATMMiF pitch side trauma qualification
- Proven background in sport – You have extensive experience working with elite athletes and a proven track record of implementing medical and rehabilitation services
- Excellent communicator – You\’re able to communicate complex information in a simple and understandable way
- Best-in-class relationship building skills – You build professional relationships with ease and act with influence to motivate change
- Courageous team player – You\’ve successfully worked within a diverse and collaborative performance support team
