The role:
ArrowXL is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our finance team in Wigan. Supporting the Head of Management Accounts and assisting in training the Assistant Management Accountants, this role offers valuable experience within a highly qualified finance team focused on development. We promote flexible working and foster a team atmosphere where you can thrive and grow.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce and post journal entries
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Conduct variance reporting
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
What you will need:
- At least 3 years' experience in a multimillion-pound turnover business, with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified/qualified by experience
- Strong time management skills to handle conflicting priorities
- Professionalism and confidentiality in all dealings
