Do you have experience leading driver assessments and Yard Shunter training? Are you a qualified RTITB Instructor with an excellent working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work? Are you skilled in coaching and supporting learners with varying levels of experience?

If so, ArrowXL is looking for a Logistics & Compliance Trainer to join our team, based at our Worcester office. You’ll be empowered to make a real impact within a collaborative environment. Driving safe, efficient, future-ready logistics through high-impact training and coaching across our UK network.

At ArrowXL, the UK’s leading two-person home delivery specialist, we’re investing in operational training to keep our people safe, compliant and performing at their best. As our Logistics & Compliance Trainer, you’ll be the trusted expert for MHE training (with accredited qualification RTITB/ITSSAR), HGV driver and yard shunter training across multiple sites, combining hands-on instruction with smart, blended learning.

What will the role involve?

  • Design and deliver high-quality operational training for drivers, MHE and yard operations, aligned to SSOW, H&S and transport regulations.
  • Lead Class 1 & 2 driver assessments, RTITB-accredited MHE courses and Yard Shunter training to consistent national standards.
  • Coach colleagues and third parties on the job, using feedback, observation and data to lift safety, quality and productivity.
  • Partner with site and transport leaders to identify skills gaps, support new process rollouts and evaluate training impact.

What are we looking for?

  • Essential: Accredited instructor qualification with recent experience delivering accredited training in logistics, transport, or supply chain settings.
  • Essential: Experience in either Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training and assessments OR Class 1 (C+E) driver assessments and/or yard & vehicle movement training.
  • Strong knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, risk assessment, and Health & Safety best practice.
  • Proven ability to communicate and coach effectively, influencing stakeholders and supporting learners at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence (minimum Category C), but a Category C+E licence is desirable.
  • Willing to travel nationwide to deliver training across multiple sites, primarily Worcester and Enfield, with initial training at Wigan and/or Airdrie. Comfortable with overnight stays when required.
  • Both MHE and Class 1 experience desirable.
