As our Regional Training & Development Lead, you’ll turn business needs into clear, practical learning solutions that help colleagues succeed from day one. You’ll design and deliver engaging training, support smooth onboarding, and work with stakeholders across the business to ensure a consistent learning experience.
You’ll analyse skills gaps, maintain accurate training records, and continuously improve programmes through evaluation and feedback. With travel across our sites required, experience in logistics or MHE training is a bonus, but above all, we’re looking for someone who can coach confidently, communicate clearly, and champion a culture of continuous learning.
If you’re ready to make a difference in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
What will the role involve?
- Translate business needs into clear training requirements, ensuring learning solutions directly support our operational goals.
- Design, develop, and deliver high‑quality training materials with strong attention to detail and a focus on engaging, practical learning experiences.
- Communicate and influence effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive a consistent learning experience across the business.
- Support the onboarding of new starters, ensuring a smooth induction experience and early confidence in role expectations.
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Maintain accurate and up to date training records, reporting on participation, compliance, and emerging trends.
- Champion a culture of learning and continuous improvement, encouraging colleagues to develop capability and adopt best practice.
- Deliver training confidently to diverse groups, accommodating different learning styles and experience levels.
- Complete post‑learning evaluations, analysing results to measure impact and continuously refine training programmes.
- Assist in planning and organising the L&D schedule, prioritising induction training and adapting to changing business requirements.
What are we looking for?
- Understanding of learning and development models; and the ability to engage colleagues through value‑add training, with a good grasp of the colleague learning cycle and content creation.
- Understanding of risk assessments, and Health & Safety best practice.
- Proven ability to communicate and coach effectively, influencing stakeholders and supporting learners at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence required, with a willingness to travel nationwide to deliver training across multiple sites, primarily Worcester and Enfield, with initial training in Wigan and/or Airdrie. Comfortable with overnight stays when required.
- Desirable: Experience delivering accredited training in logistics, transport, or supply chain settings.
- Desirable: Experience in Material Handling Equipment (MHE) training and assessments.
