What will the role involve?
- Ensuring optimal routing of vehicles using transport planning systems to meet customer requirements, maintain legal compliance, and achieve organisational KPIs.
- A fast-paced Transport Planning role - planning national routes, including trunking and final mile deliveries.
- Working closely with the warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Planning inter-depot movements, collections, and customer orders.
- Accurately updating transport systems in real time as changes occur.
- Answering internal enquiries regarding route capacity to ensure customer requirements are met to the highest standards.
