Network Planner – hours between 08:30 - 19:30, 4 days from 6 Worcester Depot – £14.30 per hour
Are you confident using Excel and quick to learn new systems? Do you pick things up fast and bring a positive, can-do attitude to work? Can you meet tight deadlines and adapt well to changing priorities? ArrowXL is looking for a Network Planner to join our team, working from our Worcester depot. Planning our routes is integral to our operation. You’ll be empowered to make a real impact within a supportive and collaborative environment. What will the role involve?
- Ensuring optimal routing of vehicles using transport planning systems to meet customer requirements, maintain legal compliance, and achieve organisational KPIs
- A fast-paced Transport Planning role - planning national routes, including trunking and final mile deliveries
- Working closely with the warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations
- Planning inter-depot movements, collections, and customer orders
- Accurately updating transport systems in real time as changes occur
- Answering internal enquiries regarding route capacity to ensure customer requirements are met to the highest standards
What are we looking for?

- Able to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Reliable and consistent in delivering to tight deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Experience working within a busy transport operation - either in a traffic office or using a transport planning system - is preferable
- Working knowledge of transport-related legal compliance (e.g. driver hours, tachograph rules)
- Good geographical knowledge is preferable
