Senior Service Designer / UX Researcher

About the Role: The position involves building an automated Lending Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) for the property sector. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a passion for systems thinking and the ability to turn complex business requirements into user-friendly interfaces. Key Responsibilities: Design seamless, intuitive user experiences for web-based applications. Translate complex workflows and business rules into clear interfaces. Use diagrams and visuals to communicate user interactions, data flows, and application states. Own the end-to-end design process, from discovery to final hand-off. Define and maintain a scalable design system with reusable UI components. Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders. Understand the workflows and expectations of property lending professionals. Prototype, iterate, and validate designs using tools like Figma. Balance clarity, functionality, and aesthetics in design solutions. Requirements: ~5+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products. ~ Experience with complex systems or domain-specific software, ideally in property lending, underwriting, or financial services. ~ Strong ability to model system logic using visual tools. ~ Fluency in systems thinking and the ability to deconstruct problems. ~ Mastery of Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design. ~ Excellent interaction and visual design skills. ~ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. ~ Strategic thinking with attention to detail. ~ Ability to attend meetings in Cambridge occasionally.
