We are working with a well-known UK digital business looking to bring in a Senior Platform Engineer to help strengthen and scale their AWS cloud platform. This is a hands-on contract role suited to someone who enjoys building robust infrastructure, improving developer platforms, and driving automation across modern cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure at scale
- Building and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
- Improving platform reliability, monitoring, and performance
- Working closely with engineering teams to enhance developer experience
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
- Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform
- Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD and cloud native engineering practices
- Ability to operate at a senior level within fast-paced engineering teams
