I’m currently partnering with a premium retail brand looking for a Shopify Developer to take ownership of their product data architecture, backend configuration, and ecommerce optimisation.
This is a backend-focused Shopify role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data structures, customisation, and improving how product information is stored, managed, and surfaced across the site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Designing and managing Shopify data structures, including advanced use of metafields
- Working with Matrixify and Shopify Admin to maintain scalable, efficient data workflows
- Applying HTML and CSS to enhance product pages, templates, and content presentation
- Partnering with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across the site
- Using data and analytics to optimise performance, search visibility, and conversion
- Supporting collections, site structure, and promotional setups from a technical perspective
- Driving efficiencies through automation and AI tools

- Strong experience as a Shopify Developer or Shopify specialist with backend focus
