Procurement Coordinator – Wigan (Hybrid) Full-time – 40 hours per week

Responsibilities- Oversee the full procurement cycle: create, verify, and authorise purchase orders (POs) and requisitions while ensuring all contracts align with company policy.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors; maintain an up-to-date supplier database, track performance KPIs, and manage compliance.
- Bridge the gap between internal stakeholders and external partners; proactively identify supply chain risks and lead resolution of delivery or quality discrepancies.
- Conduct market research and price analysis to benchmark costs; prepare monthly procurement reports, analyse spending patterns, and provide actionable insights to improve margins.
- Reconcile invoices against delivery notes with the Finance department and resolve pricing variances.
- Maintain and streamline procurement workflows and administration to optimise processes.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to build collaborative relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
- High accountability and exceptional organisational skills; manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills; identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
- Team player capable of working independently while contributing to broader operations and finance teams.
- Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
