This role is all about keeping our delivery operation running smoothly and efficiently. You'll own delivery scheduling and capacity planning, using data and demand trends to make sure the right resources are in the right place at the right time. From managing order flow through to completed delivery you'll spot issues early, resolve bottlenecks and work closely with operations, transport and customer service teams to protect service levels for our customers.

What will the role involve?

  • Manage and maintain delivery schedules and diary to ensure optimal route planning and capacity utilisation.
  • Produce weekly forecasts based on trends and customer demand.
  • Monitor and control order flow from intake through to delivery completion.
  • Analyse daily, weekly, and seasonal demand trends to support accurate forecasting.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the delivery network and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to align delivery plans.
  • Use data to optimise resource allocation (drivers, vehicles, days).
  • Produce regular performance reports.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across delivery operations.
  • Ensure systems and data are accurate, up‐to‐date, and reliable.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Experience in logistics, transport planning or delivery operations (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‐functionally.
  • Problem‐solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and improvement.
  • Experience with forecasting or demand planning is desirable.
