Most of our work is taking responsibility for storing and delivering large, heavy, bulky items the kind of work that typically needs two people to handle. Quite often these items need to be installed, which we do too.
ArrowXL are excited to announce that we are now recruiting for a Transport Manager for our Wigan Head Office. Managing your teams, you will hold overall responsibility for the smooth operation of our Transport and Service Delivery functions, ensuring our customers receive the best quality service. Main ResponsibilitiesOn a day-to-day basis, this role is about leading on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles, and equipment) to ensure we have everything required in the right place at the right time, not only to meet, but also to flex to our customers' changing needs. Reporting into the site General Manager, you will also be accountable for:
- Leading, guiding and motivating your team of skilled Shift Managers, First Line Managers and service delivery crews.
- Managing the Transport Function at Wigan (main hub) and northern out-bases.
