Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure smooth operation during the night shift.
- Take accountability for the assigned work area (receiving, picking, loading, putaway, etc.).
- Ensure the team meets performance targets through strong leadership.
- Maintain stock integrity and perform quality control checks upon receipt and after each movement.
- Ensure the shift completes all agreed tasks on time and exceeds key performance indicators and quality standards.
- Operate the team to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Complete administration and data capture accurately and timely.
- Ensure all team members operate within legislative requirements, especially Health & Safety.
- Identify opportunities to improve KPIs and implement ideas.
- Communicate objectives and standards clearly, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Define and prioritise day-to-day activities to meet deadlines.
- Model positive behaviours, recognise good performance and manage underperformance.
- Coaching and mentoring of team members.
- Resolve conflicts and manage conduct in line with policy.
- Manage attendance as per policy and procedure.
- Build open, honest, professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

- Expertise in warehouse operations – UTR excellence / SSOWs.
- Strong knowledge of other regions of the operation.
- Relationship management skills and the ability to navigate the corporate landscape.
