The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

£12.71 per hour, 45 hours per week over 4 days; 07:00 to 16:45. Job and Finish, so guaranteed pay until the end of your shift if your work is completed earlier. Overtime and extra shifts are available and paid at time and a half.

ArrowXL is now recruiting for Drivers Mates to join our great transport team, situated at our Inverness site operating on a 4/7 shift pattern. We operate a Job and Finish scheme to promote a healthy work-life balance. Dealing with items such as refrigerators, televisions, indoor and outdoor furniture requires hard work and dedication. By choosing to be part of our Transport team, you will be welcomed into the ArrowXL family.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Full accountability and care for your vehicle
  • Checking receipt of all relevant paperwork
  • Transporting customer items safely and free from damage
  • Delivering a variety of items to customers' room of choice
  • Assembling and/or installing customer products (training will be provided)
  • Working as a team
  • Keeping the customer up to date on delivery progress and resolving any customer questions or concerns
  • Informing the depot of any delays
  • Representing ArrowXL to the highest standard

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritise Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • A reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
  • Ability to handle heavy and bulky items
  • Experience of working as a Delivery Driver or as a Drivers Mate is desirable
