We require a well-qualified and enthusiastic professional to lead our dedicated Creative Arts team across the school. The role involves overseeing a range of courses across Key stages 3‑5, including Art, Photography, Hospitality & Catering, and 3D Design. The department is highly popular with students at GCSE and A Level, and the school has maintained an ‘Outstanding’ rating in all categories in recent inspections.

As part of the Central Region Schools Trust, the candidate will collaborate with local schools to provide seamless education for all students aged 3‑19. The full remit of the post will be based on the appointed candidate's experience, skills, and knowledge, and will offer opportunities for personal and professional development within the National Teaching School framework.

We are looking for candidates with a proven record of impact and success in achieving student progress, strategic vision, and commitment to the arts. Subject experience in Art, Photography, and Design is essential. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills and be capable of leading staff through change that benefits learners. 3D Design would be an ideal specialism, but all Creative Arts specialisms will be considered.
