Hours: Monday-Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm and Friday 8.00am-2.00pm

About the role: We currently have a vacancy for a Facilities & Safety Manager who is passionate about keeping our workplace safe, efficient, and well maintained. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while delivering high-quality facilities management across our site.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of facilities, ensuring buildings and equipment are maintained to a high standard
  • Develop, implement and monitor health & safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits and inspections to ensure compliance
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation (eg. HSE regulations, fire safety, COSHH)
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety culture across the business
  • Manage budgets related to facilities and safety operations

Aspects of the job may involve duties outside the normal hours of work, this is considered to be part of your contract.

Skills & Qualities:

  • Proven experience in facilities management and health & safety roles
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
  • Excellent problem solving and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Proactive, detail oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualification highly desirable
