About the role:
We are looking to recruit skilled CNC Operators who are passionate about Precision Engineering and looking for their next role. The positions are based at our site in Hinckley, working 4pm to 2am or 9pm to 7am, Monday to Thursday (40 hours in total).
Key Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the set-up and operation of various multi axis mill turn, bed type and CNC grinding machines using Fanuc, Mazak, and Studer language and in accordance with H&S regulations and the process control plan.
- Running secondary operation machines when required.
- Using measuring equipment to ensure components meet the required specification.
- Performing any other duties that may be required from time to time.
What we are looking for:
Qualifications:- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- A willingness to learn new skills and share ideas and knowledge.
- A positive, proactive and professional approach.
- Ability to build and maintain successful relationships with colleagues.
- Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and a consistent approach.
- Ability and willingness to work to targets and deadlines.
- Flexibility to work outside of normal contracted hours when required.
- Excellent technical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow processes, procedures and requirements of ISO 9001.
- Articulate communication skills.
