LEAD QUALITY INSPECTOR

Lead Quality Inspector Arrow Precision Engineering are the world leader in the manufacture of crankshafts and connecting rods. Quality, Innovation and Performance are the hallmarks of our business. We produce bespoke, race proven designs and are a family run business. We are looking for a Lead Quality Inspector who has a keen eye for detail and passionate about problem solving. Our Inspectors maintain our high standards by approving and assessing products during and after production. This role will lead the department and therefore some previous management / leadership experience is required as well as being able to demonstrate the following qualities. Key Responsibilities • Carrying out visual and dimensional inspection of various machined and sourced components to specifications and drawings. • Ensure processes are delivering intended outcomes. • Approving incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. • Approving in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production. • Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputt...
