We have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team for an experienced Principal Town Planner with 5-10 years’ experience ideally within both private and public sectors of the planning industry.

Job Description - Principal Planner

Responsibilities

  • Oversee major planning projects and ensure their successful delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic planning strategies for clients across a range of sectors.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship for planning team.
  • Provide thought leadership expertise at events and contribute to online content.
  • Build new relationships and win new work.
  • Promote and continue to raise the profile of Arrow Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in planning, with significant project management experience.
  • Member of the RTPI
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement planning strategies.
  • Strong alignment with Arrow Planning's values of team, legacy, accountability, high standards, creative innovation, and delivering on commitments.
  • Confident in delivering Planning CPD to internal and external teams
