We are seeking an experienced Talent Sourcer to support the delivery of hiring across McLaren Racing. This role will focus on proactively identifying and engaging talent, building high-quality pipelines and helping the business stay ahead of hiring demand across a broad range of functions and disciplines.

Working closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging and attracting exceptional talent across a broad range of disciplines and levels of seniority. You will be responsible for building strong talent pipelines, proactively mapping markets and developing relationships with candidates ahead of hiring demand.

Role Dimensions:

  • Specialist talent sourcing role supporting hiring across the business
  • Supports hiring activity across the organisation, adapting to changing business priorities
  • Works closely with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers across the business
  • Owns and executes sourcing strategies end-to-end

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and deliver proactive sourcing strategies aligned to hiring requirements, identifying and engaging talent through direct search, networking, referrals and market research.
  • Talent Mapping & Market Research: Conduct talent mapping and competitor research to identify target organisations, talent pools and potential candidates across a wide range of disciplines and functions.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain high-quality talent pipelines aligned to current vacancies and anticipated future hiring needs, ensuring the business has access to talent ahead of demand.
  • Passive Candidate Engagement: Identify, approach and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach, building interest in opportunities and developing long‑term talent relationships.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand hiring requirements, provide market insight and agree effective sourcing strategies.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through professional communication, effective relationship management and positive representation of the McLaren Racing employer brand.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Support the development of diverse talent pipelines through inclusive sourcing approaches and broad market engagement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sourcing activity, research methodologies and hiring outcomes, sharing best practice across the Talent Acquisition team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in talent sourcing, executive search, recruitment research or Talent Acquisition.
  • Demonstrated success engaging passive candidates and building talent pipelines.
  • Experience managing multiple complex or hard-to-fill searches simultaneously.
  • Strong experience using sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Artificial Intelligence, Boolean search techniques and external research resources.
  • Experience conducting market mapping and talent identification activities.
  • Ability to source across multiple disciplines, functions and levels of seniority.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting hiring across a variety of functions, disciplines and levels of seniority.
  • Experience working within an in‑house Talent Acquisition team or executive search environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and talent relationship management tools.
