Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑driven Goods Receiving Coordinator to join our Internal Logistics team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring the accurate, safe and efficient receipt and dispatch of all goods coming into and leaving McLaren Racing. As the first point of contact for deliveries, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to maintain smooth operational flow and uphold our high standards.
Principal Accountabilities
- Receive, inspect and distribute all incoming goods, ensuring accuracy, correct documentation and prompt delivery to stakeholders.
- Check items for damage and conformity against purchase orders and delivery paperwork, reporting and rejecting discrepancies.
- Conduct geometric and visual inspections of specified parts before storage to confirm compliance.
- Coordinate the dispatch of goods via internal transport and external couriers, maintaining communication and traceability through proper documentation.
- Support wider logistics operations, including inventory audits, stores distribution, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience in goods receiving within a warehouse or production environment.
- Understanding of logistics operations and supply chain processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
