Purpose of the Role: The Executive Assistant will enhance the effectiveness of the Team Principal, McLaren Endurance Racing by ensuring their working days run as efficiently as possible, allowing them to focus on the bigger picture, driving our team vision and performance while ensuring that day-to-day operations align with overall strategic goals. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with exceptional organisational and communication skills and solid business acumen.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Operational excellence: Support and prioritise the Team Principal’s schedule and tasks, handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities, provide coordinated and proactive diary management, manage extensive travel logistics, ensure the Team Principal is well-prepared for meetings, follow administrative systems/processes, and assist with routine tasks.
- Project Management: Help translate the Team Principal’s vision into actionable plans, manage internal and external events and projects.
- Reporting: Manage the team’s reporting process, prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and presentations, ensure board reports are completed in good time, help identify trends and solve operational problems.
- Communication and Liaison: Serve as a point of contact between the Team Principal and stakeholders, facilitate clear communication, manage relationships with key stakeholders, coordinate meetings and communication with media and partners.
- Leadership and Culture: Help foster and maintain a positive culture, lead on the delivery for internal team events, navigate and manage unexpected challenges.
Job requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Proven experience as an Executive Assistant in a high performance, fast paced organisation, excellent organisational and time management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, solid commercial and financial acumen, proficient in MS Office and other digital/IT packages.
