Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing administrative tasks, maintaining effective communication, and supporting various departments.
The company has insulation teams visiting multiple sites daily. Some of this work is for private customers and some of it is under grant related programs.
The role can be adapted to best fit but here is a full list of possible duties:
Colate installers evidence and produce handover infomation to send to clients
Help coordinate survey and install bookings
keep track of installs completed and update the CRM or Contractors applications for patents
If you have book keeping skills, then invoicing completed works
Keeping on top of compliance, arranging the audits and booking courses to stay up to date.
To help our current office team where needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and document organisation
- Answer phone calls professionally, providing excellent phone etiquette and customer service
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for team members
- Utilise Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace to prepare reports and correspondence
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other relevant software programmes
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents with attention to detail
- Support the team with general clerical duties
- Ensure the office environment remains organised and efficient by implementing effective filing systems
Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organisational abilities
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong typing skills to facilitate efficient document preparation and correspondence
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated administrative experience supporting teams or executives
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools and administrative procedures
The office is a nice space with a small but fun crew. There is banter.

Pay: Β£24,784.00-Β£30,000.00 per year
