The Cloud Engineer will play a key role in operating, supporting and evolving Arrow’s multi-cloud estate, with AWS as the primary platform and Azure as a secondary environment. Working within the Technology team, you will help design and implement secure, scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure that underpins critical business and investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and support our AWS (primary) and Azure (secondary) environments in production
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure
- Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, following an infrastructure-as-code-first approach
- Support hybrid connectivity between cloud and on-prem environments
- Assist in implementing governance controls across multi-account AWS environments
- Support Azure platform services including Virtual Machines, networking, storage and identity
- Monitor cloud environments for security, performance and cost optimisation
- Contribute to disaster recovery design and resilience testing across AWS and Azure
- Work closely with Information Security to maintain secure cloud configurations
- Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
- Provide technical escalation support to the wider IT team
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to modernise and enhance the cloud platform
About You
- Strong hands-on AWS experience in production environments
- Experience with multi-account AWS environments (AWS Organizations preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of Azure infrastructure services
- Experience in hybrid cloud environments (cloud ↔ on-prem)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals (VPC/VNet, DNS, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute)
- In-depth knowledge of IAM, RBAC and cloud security best practices
- Experience with core AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, CloudWatch)
- Experience supporting Azure VMs, VNets, Storage Accounts and Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Hands-on Terraform experience, including writing reusable modules (required)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments
- Experience monitoring production environments, incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis
