We are seeking an accomplished and strategic senior leader to join our Capital Allocation team as a Vice President. This team operates at the heart of the Fund Management function and plays a critical role in capital deployment strategy, investor value creation, and operational performance across Arrow’s investment platform. The successful candidate will drive strategic insights and capital planning initiatives, influencing decisions across fundraising, investment selection, portfolio management, valuation, and business intelligence. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to optimise capital allocation and fund performance, while supporting firmwide growth objectives.
About the role:
- Lead strategic capital planning initiatives, partnering with Investment, Portfolio Management, and Finance teams to optimise capital deployment across Arrow’s third-party managed funds.
- Design and oversee financial models and performance frameworks to assess profitability, risk, and return on deployed capital across investment strategies.
- Act as a senior stakeholder in fundraising efforts, supporting capital formation teams with return modelling, investor communications, and product structuring.
- Present insights and recommendations to executive leadership and Investment Committee members based on detailed financial analysis and scenario testing.
- Steer the development and implementation of advanced data analytics and modelling tools.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering analytical rigour and knowledge sharing across the Capital Allocation team.
- Drive continuous process improvement, ensuring the Fund Management area maintains a best-in-class operating framework for capital decision-making.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
- Strong academic background in Business, Finance, Economics, or STEM-related fields; postgraduate qualifications preferred.
- Proven relevant experience, with a proven track record in banking, corporate finance, private equity, or fund management.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex modelling, valuation, and performance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and challenge senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of fund economics, performance attribution, and investor reporting.
- Highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling; familiarity with data tools (Power BI, Anaplan, Dynamics 365) is advantageous.
- A recognised financial qualification (e.g., ACA, CFA, CPA) is strongly preferred.
