Arrow Global’s Lending Solutions team provides bespoke, structured real estate financing across Arrow’s core Western European markets. The team originates, structures, executes and manages performing and special situations investments across a wide range of asset classes and capital structures. Transactions include bridge financings, development loans, structured mortgages and other secured lending solutions, including special situations transactions, across various leverage profiles.

Leveraging Arrow’s local platforms and origination network, the team accesses differentiated investment opportunities and delivers compelling risk-adjusted returns, while providing borrowers with flexible, tailored financing solutions. As a vertically integrated investment manager with proprietary origination channels, disciplined underwriting and active portfolio oversight are central to capital preservation and performance generation.

The Associate/Senior Associate will be responsible for supporting senior team members in originating, structuring and executing lending transactions across Europe, working closely with local platforms and cross-functional deal teams. The role is dynamic and entrepreneurial given the fast-paced and growing environment while remaining highly analytical and process-intensive requiring a high degree of technical fluency in real estate finance structures and ability to coordinate and manage internal and external stakeholders.

You will play a key role across the deal lifecycle — from initial screening and due diligence through to structuring, negotiation, and closing — ensuring that each transaction is underwritten and executed in accordance with internal policies, credit standards, and investment committee requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to deal execution across multiple European markets and asset classes, build strong relationships with sponsors and market counterparties, and contribute to the continued growth and refinement of the Lending Solutions platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed investment memoranda and financial models for investment committee review, ensuring loans are underwritten in accordance with internal policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including the appointment of advisors, negotiation of engagement letters and reliance letters, and review and commentary on advisor reports.
  • Actively support the negotiation of relevant transaction documentation.
  • Support the structuring, underwriting, negotiation, and closing of investment transactions in coordination with internal deal teams (legal, tax, finance, risk, compliance, capital markets and local platforms), as well as external advisors and counterparties.
  • Participate in deal pipeline management and early-stage deal screening and assist loan asset managers with ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting, as required.
  • Regularly update internal systems to ensure accurate, up-to-date deal status.
  • Conduct site visits and engage with sponsors, operating partners, and third-party advisors.
  • Identify, assess, and escalate key credit, legal, and structuring risks throughout the transaction lifecycle, proposing mitigants where appropriate.
  • Ensure all transactions comply with applicable regulatory requirements, internal risk appetite, and lending policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, brokers, borrowers, and other market participants to support deal origination and repeat business.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of internal underwriting templates, policies, and processes.
