Job Description
Arrowβs Global Components is seeking a Technology Field Application Engineer specializing in AI, high-end processing, and system-on-modules (SoM). You will serve as a technical liaison between customer engineering teams and suppliers, providing expert support, technical guidance, and solutions for integrating advanced processing technologies into customer applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre-sales support: assist customers in selecting and designing AI-driven and high-performance computing solutions based on SoMs and chips.
- Customer engagement: understand technical requirements and help optimize AI algorithms, hardware acceleration, and embedded systems.
- Product integration & troubleshooting: support seamless hardware and software integration of SoM-based AI solutions.
- Training & documentation: conduct workshops, create documentation, and provide hands-on training on AI frameworks, edge computing, and SoM platforms.
- Demonstrations & prototyping: develop proof-of-concept demos and reference designs showcasing AI and high-performance processing capabilities.
Qualifications
- Experience with System-on-Modules, SoCs, and edge AI processors (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Qualcomm, NXP, Altera).
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), embedded systems, and high-performance architectures.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
