SOLUTIONS ENGINEER
Arrow\’s Enterprise Computing Solutions is looking for a Solutions Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for provide pre-sales support for aligned Arrow vendors, working closely with other Solutions Engineers and Architects, as well as aligned commercial teams, to support partner and customer activities within the networking and security field.
What will you be doing at Arrow ECS?

  • You will be responsible for achieving and maintaining technical requirements as set out by aligned vendors, including base level of certifications where appropriate.
  • Maintaining an awareness and understanding of current security landscape, with a focus on aligned vendors.
  • Identifying and supporting complex solutions opportunities.
  • Maintaining an awareness of Arrow line card vendors, outside of own vendor alignments.
  • Providing consistently accurate and relevant technical information, to be a trusted advisor to both partners and other teams within Arrow.
  • Maintaining and growing key customer and partner relationships.
  • Supporting Arrow\’s strategic goals, on a divisional scale.
  • Focusing on technical needs of emerging, or underpenetrated prospects. Understanding all of Arrow\’s solutions and can match those solutions to customer business needs.
  • Driving/creating new opportunities and product selection within their aligned accounts and recognizing activity relevant to other technical resources as needed.
  • Recognizing and highlighting opportunities for growth and enablement, as well as new services that may be provided.

What are we looking for?

  • You have experience in a similar position within solutions engineering/pre-sales engineering within a relevant sector.
  • Experience in network technologies, and certification (NSE7, CCNA, CCNP, Network +, or similar).
  • Experience in Cyber Security (Security Operations, Risk Mitigation, Incident Management, Vulnerability Management, or similar disciplines).
  • Experience in Compliance and Governance (ISO 270001, NIST, GDPR, Cyber Essentials, or similar frameworks).
  • Can build and develop strategic business relationships.
  • 5+ years Technical Information Technology background/experience.
  • Effective communication with people at all levels.
