Arros QD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking. Our concept revolves around rice, wood and fire, and our aim is to bring the best of Valencian cuisine to the heart of London. We are looking for an experienced Head Bartender/Bartender who can delight our guests from behind the bar, working alongside our hands-on, guest service-minded and supportive Front of House team.

This role will be ideal for someone who is confident running the bar operations at a high pace, in a fine dining/premium hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and passionate Bartender with extensive knowledge in cocktails and spirits, who can take on the responsibility of training and leading a small bar team.

Arros QD is a fantastic venue with an amazing projection, so growth opportunities are around the corner for the right candidate. Joining Arros QD means you'll work with high-quality ingredients and under the gastronomic guidance of Michelin Star Chef Quique, following recipes to signature dishes and traditional paellas and rice dishes with love and care. At Arros QD, we put high-quality produce and service first for our guests. And for ourselves, we build careers and opportunities by ensuring Learning and Development opportunities are present daily. Internal growth is embedded in our culture!

We are looking for truly engaging individuals who want to help us live by our values and fulfil our mission, which is to be the best ambassadors of Valencian gastronomy, with the Paella culture at the heart of what we do. So if you feel like starting (or continuing) an exciting career in hospitality…we want to hear from you!

We are always looking to improve our team's journey, and these are some of our current initiatives to help you succeed with us:

  • No zero-hour contract, unless you ask us for one because it suits you.
  • A dedicated training team and state-of-the-art training platforms to get you where you want.
  • There are lots of training and development opportunities.
  • Proper homecooked meals for our team, 2 per day if you are working break shifts or finishing late.
  • Take as many holidays as you need! We will pay up to 28, and spread your holiday pay in the way that suits you best.
  • Enhanced holiday allowance. An extra day for each year you work with us, up to 33 days per year!
  • Celebrate your Birthday: Dinner on us!
  • Refer a Friend Scheme, generous incentives if you help us build a dream team!
  • Great Staff Discounts (50%) ...and more!

Arros QD is brought to life in the heart of Fitzrovia. Everything revolves around the six-meter woodfire stove where our chefs weave their magic, with theatrical seating around the open kitchen downstairs and a classic dining experience on the upper floor. Our menu changes with the seasons, blending regional Spanish cooking heritage with local British ingredients. Cooked a la llama (to the flame) on our six-meter stove, dishes include everything from flame-grilled octopus to tomahawk steaks, with a starring role for the paellas brought sizzling to your table.

We believe that personality and authenticity is what make us special. Your ideas and energy shape every aspect of our people's success. We celebrate and welcome applications from all cultures, backgrounds, tastes and experience, and we are proud to generate a culture where everybody feels at their best. For us, this plays a crucial role in helping us create memorable experiences for both our team and our guests.

We want to make the application and selection process suitable for all. We’re very happy to discuss adjustments to our standard processes to facilitate this for you - just let us know and we can chat about it!
