ArrosQD is the result of chef Quique Dacosta’s lifelong passion for paella and wood-fired cooking. Our concept evolves around rice, wood and fire, and our aim is to bring the best of Mediterranean cuisine to the heart of London.
The successful candidate will be someone with a passion for exceptional guest service, ideally with background experience in similar roles and in hospitality.
PURPOSE
- To act as a support to the GM and management team, to drive the restaurant forward in all areas:
- delivering quality service to guests
- developing its people and team
- driving quality, standards and sales
- delivering good profits in a safe, sustainable way
To live the company values by leading, training and coaching the front of house team to prepare for and deliver the highest levels of guest experience; obsessively. Always personally well-presented, the Assistant Manager creates a successful, positive personal relationship with all colleagues and guests.
To provide an example by working in a safe and hygienic way, ensuring accurate record keeping and using ArrosQD service, cleaning and safety checklists and forms. The Assistant Manager has overall responsibility for running the shift you are delegated to run, in a safe and legal way, with the ability to prove this through active record keeping.
RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports directly to: Restaurant Manager.
- Line Management responsibility: Acts as a coach and delegates duties for front of house team during shifts. Doesn’t directly line manage team, i.e. doesn’t approve holidays, pay rises, hold appraisals etc.
- Co-ordinates, communicates and cooperates effectively with kitchen, bar managers and office personnel.
