This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll manage candidate journeys end to end, support large-scale recruitment campaigns, and work closely with operations and training teams to get new starters road-ready.
The Role
Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, you’ll support operational recruitment across the business, ensuring an outstanding candidate experience from application through to onboarding. You’ll be a key partner to recruiters, operations, and training, helping maximise conversion, efficiency, and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Candidate Management
- Act as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Manage communications, updates, and queries professionally and efficiently
- Support candidate screening and pipeline management
- Coordinate pre-boarding activities including medicals and licence applications
- Recruitment Support
- Support assessment days, including logistics, reporting, and candidate follow-up
- Schedule interviews and liaise with training schools on assessments and inductions
- Provide administrative support to high-volume recruitment campaigns
- Pre-boarding & Onboarding
- Coordinate start dates, inductions, and onboarding documentation
- Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure new starters are fully prepared
- Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain accurate recruitment records in Workday
- Produce reports on pipeline activity, assessments, and onboarding metrics
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environment
- Strong candidate management and recruitment coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident using ATS/HR systems and Microsoft Office
