We’re looking for a motivated and organised Project Manager to join our team at our Bristol Barton Hill depot. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a variety of projects across our maintenance and facilities operations.
You’ll be working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll take ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring they’re delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard for our customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead projects through their full lifecycle – from initial planning right through to successful delivery and handover.
- Manage a range of projects across heavy maintenance, light maintenance, and facilities.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Create and maintain project plans to keep everything on track.
- Oversee budgets, forecasting, and project performance.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and project changes.
- Lead project meetings and drive actions through to completion.
- Produce clear reports and performance updates.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and help drive efficiencies.
- Contribute to operational planning, including capacity and pipeline activity.
What we’re looking for
We’re keen to hear from individuals who are proactive, organised, and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, or Project Manager role.
- A background in engineering, manufacturing, rail, or a similar operational environment (desirable).
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Experience with project planning tools (e.g. Microsoft Project – desirable).
Qualifications
- Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, or similar) – essential.
- Lean / Six Sigma knowledge – desirable.
- Leadership or management training – a bonus.
