What You’ll Be Doing- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of PSV vehicles
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- MOT preparation and preventative maintenance inspections
- Vehicle safety inspections and quality control checks
- Roadside breakdown response and reactive repairs
- Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology
- Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team
- Shift work including earlies, lates, and weekends (5 days out of 7)
- Proven experience as a PSV/HGV mechanic or engineer (automotive, heavy vehicle, or rail considered)
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving license (PCV/HGV desirable, but not essential)
- Electrical systems knowledge (desirable but not essential)
- Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including evenings and weekends
- £26.35 per hour
