We are looking for experienced and ambitious PSV Mechanics to join Arriva, based at our Heckmondwike depot.
As a PSV Engineer, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercially operated buses & coaches, to the strict standards set by both Arriva and the DVSA.

The role of a PSV Mechanic will involve:
- Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards.
- Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability.
- MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
- Vehicle fault diagnosis, ensuring reliability and maintenance are kept to Arriva standards (higher than DVSA).
Requirements of a PSV Mechanic:
- Qualifications for PSV/HGV maintenance and repair – Minimum of NVQ level 3 or an equivalent international qualification (confirmation required).
- A full UK driving licence (6 points or less).
- Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
