Successful qualified PCV Bus Driver candidates will receive:
- £250 following successful completion of training and entry into service
- £250 following 6 months' continuous service
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Sign-On Bonus, candidates must:
- Hold a full valid PCV licence and CPC.
- Apply during the promotional period.
- Successfully complete all recruitment and onboarding checks.
- Successfully complete Training School training requirements.
- Commence employment with Arriva.
- Remain employed and not be serving notice at the point each payment becomes due.

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour - £16.45 per hour

What We Offer:
- Weekdays £16.00 per hour (must have 18 months experience in the last 5 years)
- Weekends £16.45 per hour (must have 18 months experience in the last 5 years)
*Qualified drivers with at least 18 months bus driving experience in the last 5 years will start on £16.00 p/h basic, otherwise the starting rate will be £14.00 p/h for 6 months.

Hours of Work:
- 5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance
- Mornings starting from 05:00 and evenings finishing around 01:30
- Overtime available based on request/availability
What We Need From You:
- MUST have a valid PCV Licence – This is a non-negotiable requirement.
(If you don’t have a PCV licence yet, apply for our Trainee role, and we’ll provide paid training to help you get qualified!) - No more than 6 points on your licence
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Flexibility as your shifts will start as early as 4AM in the morning but will always work no later than 1AM depending on the time that you start.
